Horoscope Analysis
Vedic Astrology, is one of India's traditional systems of astrology. It studies a person's birth chart based on the date, time, and place of birth to understand the broader patterns and tendencies of life.
A birth chart can be thought of as a map of the sky at the moment we were born. The planets, zodiac signs, houses, Nakshatras and their relationships with one another are studied to understand different areas of life.
Through Vedic Astrology, we can explore areas such as personality, education, career, profession, finances, marriage, relationships, children, family life, health tendencies, spiritual inclination and important periods of change.
More importantly, it helps us understand why certain phases of life feel different from others. There may be periods when opportunities seem to open naturally, while at other times life may demand patience, responsibility, learning or transformation.
Rather than seeing the horoscope as a fixed script, I use Vedic Astrology as a framework for understanding the larger journey of life—our natural tendencies, the circumstances we may encounter, and how we can approach them with greater awareness.
Vedic Astrology
KP Astrology
KP Astrology, or Krishnamurti Paddhati, is a systematic approach to astrology developed by Sri K.S. Krishnamurti.
While traditional astrology provides a broad understanding of the horoscope, KP Astrology allows us to examine specific areas of life through a structured analysis of houses, planets, Nakshatra Lords and Sub Lords.
For example, someone may ask:
"Will there be a change in my career?"
The question may appear simple, but several possibilities exist. Is a job change indicated? Is there an opportunity for promotion? Is business more suitable? Is the present period supportive of professional growth? Or is it better to wait before making a major decision?
KP Astrology helps us study such questions by identifying the houses connected with the matter and analysing whether the relevant planetary significations support the event.
I particularly value KP Astrology because of its logical and analytical framework. It brings structure to astrological interpretation and can be used to study areas such as career, marriage, relationships, finance, property, education, children, relocation and other significant events in life.
KP Horary
There are moments when we have an important question, but a birth chart may not be available—or the recorded birth time may not be reliable enough for detailed analysis.
This is where KP Horary can be particularly useful.
Instead of depending entirely on the birth chart, Horary Astrology begins with a genuine question that is important to the person at that particular moment. A horary chart is then studied according to the principles of KP Astrology to understand whether the circumstances surrounding that question are supportive.
The questions can be practical and specific:
"Will I get this job?"
"Is this business opportunity likely to work in my favour?"
"Will this property transaction materialise?"
"Is there a possibility of marriage with this person?"
"Will the situation I am waiting for move forward?"
KP Horary is therefore especially useful when the concern is not about understanding one's entire life, but about gaining clarity regarding one specific question or situation.
The purpose is not to make decisions on your behalf, but to provide an astrological perspective that may help you understand the situation more clearly before making your own decision.
Jamakol Prasannam
Jamakol Prasannam belongs to the traditional Prasanna methods of astrology, where the focus is on understanding a question or situation through the astrological indications present at the time of consultation.
Sometimes a person comes with a concern that is difficult to express as a simple yes-or-no question. They may feel that something in life is not moving as expected, or they may want to understand the underlying nature of a situation.
Prasannam approaches such moments from a different perspective.
The astrological factors connected with the time of the query are studied according to the principles of the system to understand the circumstances surrounding the matter.
It may be applied to questions involving family, relationships, marriage, career, finance, property, missing objects, important decisions and other situations where greater clarity is sought.
I see Prasannam as a traditional method of examining the question of the moment—understanding what the situation may be indicating and what factors deserve attention.
Match Making
Marriage compatibility is much more than comparing two names, zodiac signs or arriving at a numerical compatibility score.
Two individuals may come from different families, experiences, expectations and ways of expressing themselves. A meaningful astrological compatibility study should therefore look beyond a single matching criterion.
In Match Making, the horoscopes of both individuals are studied to understand areas such as emotional compatibility, temperament, communication, relationship dynamics, family life, marital harmony and other important factors connected with marriage.
Traditional compatibility methods can form part of this analysis, but they are considered alongside the broader indications present in both horoscopes.
The intention is not to label a relationship simply as "good" or "bad." Instead, the consultation aims to understand how the two individuals may function together, where compatibility appears naturally supportive, and where greater understanding, adjustment or communication may be required.
Astrology should support an informed decision—not replace personal understanding, mutual respect, family considerations and real-world compatibility between two people.
